Kathy has been a strategic advisor for over 20 years. She merged her private practice into Viridian in September 2018. She works as a Specialist Executive Advisor and leads the Viridian Private Office team in Victoria. Kathy’s experience and passion spans advice to high-net-worth individuals and families with specialist experience for clients with complex structures and needs. She has additional expertise in philanthropy and family succession planning. She is highly sought out as a specialist advisor to families with disabilities, having a child with complex special needs herself. Relationships are at the core of advice for Kathy with many spanning decades. She believes it a privilege to share a life journey with a client, and to really create impact in assisting them reach their evolving aspirations. Kathy works closely with her clients and their other specialist advisers to ensure the optimal outcomes are achieved and to pro-actively plan for the future. Kathy is also a Director on the Board of the Viridian Foundation, along with Kindred Spirits Foundation where she takes an active role to really make a difference to her community. She lives by the mantra of “you have not truly lived until you have done something wonderful for someone who can never possibly repay you”. The rewards for giving and altering lives are humbling and resoundingly fulfilling for her. Kathy is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), has a Masters of Entrepreneurship and Innovation (MEI) and is a Graduate of the AICD. She has twice been awarded the Financial Planning Association’s National Award for Community Service as well as the national Award for Community Engagement for Women in Financial Services.
