Writing your article

Articles are most effective when written in an informative but friendly tone consisting of between 600-1000 words.

When developing your content please consider the consumer audience, avoid the use of acronyms and professional references that readers may not be aware of. At no point should you reference financial products by name.

Consider the use of subheadings, bullet points and numbered lists for easy digestion.

If referencing data, a study, or research, please include a URL in the footnote.

If quoting another person within the article, it is the author’s responsibility to obtain written consent for the quote(s) to be included prior to submission.

If you are an Australian financial services (AFS) licensee, or a representative of an AFS licensee, please abide by any compliance requirements of the licensee.

If you are not an AFS licensee or a representative of an AFS licensee, – for example, you are not providing services that require an AFS license.

Do not include content in your article (or the resharing of the published article) that would suggest to readers that you act on behalf of the FAAA.
