About
Powered by the Financial Advice Association Australia (FAAA), Money & Life is an online destination dedicated to helping improve the financial wellbeing of Australians. Our purpose is to provide practical tips to help consumers achieve their lifestyle goals and view their financial future with confidence. The Money & Life website also acts as a gateway to the Find a Planner tool, helping consumers begin their financial advice journey with the help of a trusted FAAA Member.
Preparing your article
When drafting topic ideas for articles, authors should consider how these will relate to at least one of the site’s topic areas and at least one of the site’s life stages.
Topic areas; Investment, Debt, Retirement, Insurance, Superannuation, Financial Literacy and Financial Wellbeing.
Life stages; Early Adulthood, Mid-Career and Pre & Post Retirement.

Sending your article for review
When your article is complete, please send it to [email protected] for an internal review, please also include your:
- Full name
- Job title
- Business name
- Bio (100-150 words)
- High-res colour headshot
- Suggested Life Stage category/s
- Suggested Topic Area category/s

Writing your article
Articles are most effective when written in an informative but friendly tone consisting of between 600-1000 words.
When developing your content please consider the consumer audience, avoid the use of acronyms and professional references that readers may not be aware of. At no point should you reference financial products by name.
Consider the use of subheadings, bullet points and numbered lists for easy digestion.
If referencing data, a study, or research, please include a URL in the footnote.
If quoting another person within the article, it is the author’s responsibility to obtain written consent for the quote(s) to be included prior to submission.
If you are an Australian financial services (AFS) licensee, or a representative of an AFS licensee, please abide by any compliance requirements of the licensee.
If you are not an AFS licensee or a representative of an AFS licensee, – for example, you are not providing services that require an AFS license.
Do not include content in your article (or the resharing of the published article) that would suggest to readers that you act on behalf of the FAAA.
